Tentsile Stingray Tree Tent & Hammock
What on earth is this tent? The Stingray 3-person tree tent is Tentsile's flagship model and the most popular Tentsile classic - and no wonder, sleeping in a tree-hugging shelter is a camping experience you won't soon forget. In good weather, you can leave the rain cover off and watch the night sky from the shelter of a mosquito net and fall asleep to the gentle breeze swaying the treetops above you.
It can be set on any terrain with sturdy and easy to use ratchet clips on three trees spaced 5 - 8m apart. By installing the tent between the trees, it provides better separation from the cold and often wet ground.
Stingray is for anyone who wants a fun change to their camping experience with a unique, fun and comfortable experience. The Stingray is desinged for 3 people, but has enough space for up to 2 adults and 2 young children to sleep comfortably as if floating in the air - not weighed down by uneven terrain and suitable for those with bad backs! ;)
Also, this is a great option for setting up a base camp for a multi-day trip to the foot of a climbing lodge, or equally for a snorkelling trip to the side of a clear-water fellside pond. First time hikers will often love the comfort of the Stingray as it can be set up on any slope or rocky outcrop, regardless of soil shape or humidity, as long as there are sturdy trees within 5 to 8 metres of each other. The Stingray is also a really functional solution for kayaking and canoeing as it can be set up on the banks of rivers, lakes and streams where you won't find flat ground. At around ten pounds, you'll definitely miss out on that longer summer backpacking trip, but in a canoe, kayak or sledge, the Tentsile will travel comfortably.
